Imsouane
Access?
Take road from Agadir - Essaouira. Half way is the turn off to Imsouane. There
are two different roads that come to Imsouane they are about 10km apart and both roads are inbetween the towns of Tamanar
and Tamri, for larger vechicles the road closer to Agadir/Tamri is better and shorter only 8km from the main road.
How does the beach look? Cool beach in fishermen's community, clay homes built into the cliff overlook the beach. Super typical.
There is fast approaching a new town with all the normal amenities.
How are the waves ? There are 2 spots: Cathedral is a point
break, fast not too steep. If the spot works well it's beautiful. Sometimes the whole beach works, not just the point,
so there's space for everyone to get a barrel.
Second spot is the bay ! Longboard
heaven. Great for all levels of surfing and if you just want to ride perfect long waves. When this thing breaks
far out on south swells, it's amazing ! One minute rides. You'll go to bed seeing lines.
